ServiceSecure is a tool to automatically change the password that WinNT/Win2k service accounts are configured for. LogoffDelay lets you log off a user not only immediately, but also after a given amount of time. Additionally it detaches from the console and is invisible to the user. The project began when Sun donated the code for StarOffice--an office suite it bought from a German company--to the open-source community. The two products remain closely intertwined. OpenOffice uses much of StarOffice's code, and the basic functionality of the two is nearly identical. The difference? OpenOffice is open source and free, while Sun charges a fee for StarOffice.
